Hello! My name is Shy!

I am sure you have seen me roaming around the clinic here at Pilot Knob. I’d like to tell you my story! I came here in 2011 as an impound. I was roaming the streets and was taken here for shelter, food, safety, and lots of love. Can you imagine little old me running around the streets? I am just a peanut! It’s a good thing I ended up at a clinic because I had developed urinary issues. Pilot Knob put me on special food to prevent crystals from forming in my urine. It took some time, but I started feeling better! They know how hard it is for a kitty like me to be rehomed. Urine issues are not fun and it wasn’t my fault. I officially became one of the clinic cats in April of 2012. I love it here and I am glad to call this place my home. You can often find me sleeping on one of the lobby chairs, on the computer in the lab, or above the sink. That’s my story! I’m excited to share more stories of our impounded animals with you!

Love, Shy
