Congratulations to our March Star Patient winner Doja D!
Doja is a 5 year old Rottweiler. She is a gentle giant and loves to snuggle! She loves to be outside and lay on the stoop watching all that is going on around her. She loves her babies, bully-sticks, and her favorite "lip" toy that smooches when she grabs it.
Doja moved here from Arizona two winters ago and has adapted to the cold rather well. She is loved by her papa, mama, g-ma, sister, and other fur-mates of the house!
Doja has been coming to PKAH since her move and her extended family has been seeing us since 2006. Congratulations Doja, you are now entered in our yearly drawing for $50!
Izzie was born on June 9, 2007. She has been coming to PKAH her whole life. Izzie spends most of her time relaxing at home. She also loves to go to the cabin in Shell Lake, WI to play outside and go for boat rides. Izzie loves people of all ages and her favorite holiday is Halloween when she can meet all the kids who come trick or treating!
Congratulations to Izzie for being a Star Patient. She is now entered into our yearly drawing for $50.
Puma is a 5 year old cat who is very affectionate and loves to cuddle and take naps. Also, he acts more like a dog than a cat - lying upside down with his paws sprawled out, following his owners around the house everywhere, and always tormenting his brother and sister. He is weird in that he doesn't like cat treats or canned cat food, but he does love his cat nip! And he likes to lick plastic bags, getting to the groceries even before his owner has time to put them away! Puma's family has been coming to PKAH for over 10 years.
Thanks for being a Star Patient Puma! And congratulations, you're now entered for our yearly drawing to win $50!
Widget is a 9 year old 75% Cavalier and 25% Pomeranian. She has been with her family since she was 9 weeks old. They named her after a Star Wars character, Wicket, and changed it to reflect a girl. Widget is 15 pounds of pure love and joy! She loves to run, play Frisbee, and snuggle on the couch. She even "protects" her family from kids on bikes!
Widget has been coming to PKAH since 2008. Even though the vet office is not her favorite place to visit, her family thanks Dr. Yip and all the vet techs for being kind, respectful, and compassionate.
Thanks Widget! And congratulations, you're entered to win a $50 gift certificate!
Hank is a 2 year old chocolate lab. He is a rescue and one of the gentlest dogs you would ever meet. He plays with kids, dogs, and even kittens! He's called the "gentle giant."
Hank's family has been coming to PKAH for about 25 years. We have treated their dogs for their routine medical needs like shots and exams. We've also treated them in emergencies like multiple insect stings and when Hank ate mouse poison as a pup. Luckily he recovered without any adverse effects with the care from his doctors and staff at PKAH.
Hank's family says "We appreciate the doctors and staff, who not only handle the medical issues, but are also so kind and caring."
Thanks! And congratulations on being entered into our yearly drawing for a $50 gift certificate!
MacDuff (Duffy) C. is a 4 year old Cairn Terrier. The breeder told his owners that he was silly and a lot of fun - she was right! Duffy is their 3rd Cairn Terrier and by far the friskiest.
His favorite things to do are:
- fetching his favorite stuffed toys
- dancing on his hind legs for the tiniest treat
- sitting right next to his owners and wanting to be touched. If they stop petting him, he'll pat their arm until they touch him again.
- going for walks all the time
- sitting in the sunlight inside and outside the house. He will move around inside the house following the sunbeam.
Congratulations Duffy! He's now entered into our yearly drawing for a $50 gift certificate. Great job on being a Star Patient!
Our first winner of our Star Patient Program! Marty H. is a 3 year old cockapoo who has been coming to Pilot Knob Animal Hospital since he was a puppy!
Marty is now entered into our yearly drawing for a $50 gift certificate. Great job on being a Star Patient!
