February is Pet Dental Month!

Most people consider brushing their teeth part of a healthy daily routine, but most don’t give nearly the same attention to routine dental care for their dogs and cats. The most common disease affecting pets is dental disease, and most dogs and cats are already suffering from dental disease by the age of three. Oral disease can lead to serious consequences for pets, including infection, severe pain, and even infections in the kidneys and heart. When left untreated, dental disease causes pets to die an average of two years earlier than they would have with proper dental care.

We have a variety of options to help you slow the progression of dental disease in your pet. If your pet doesn’t tolerate brushing, we have other ways we can help! Stop in to see what options we have for you to try for your pet!
